Concept Common Ground

Sorry about not posting recently, but I have been having to plan my wedding this week. I will post more soon and I'll have a challenge to those who curently read.

These strips were from a time when I was contemplating Aaron in a college setting. I bagged the idea pretty early, but here are some remants of the "College" Common Ground.

Common Ground, the mission statement

Common Ground has been around since the late 90's. The focus is around Aaron, a gay man in his mid twenties as well as his best friend and roommate Chloe. Although the lead character is gay, this is only an aspect of him and the strip. Family relationships, dating, friends & working life are all part of Common Ground...as it is a part of life. There are many strips out there that currently appeal to minority groups. Candorville has a large latin influence where as Boondocks appeals to the African American community. There have even been gay supporting characters in such widely read comics as For Better or Worse, Bloom County and Doonesbury. I think its now time for a gay character to take center stage. Do what you can to help. In the links section I have included ways of contacting major national syndicates. Tell them about this strip and tell them you want to see it in your daily paper.
